Surface Preparation
Prepare the surface by using suitable sand/emery paper or scrapping tools to remove dirt, dust, grease, loose flaking paint, laitance, algae, fungi etc. and wipe it clean.
Primer
-
Apply coat of Shalimar Water Thinnable Cement Primer / Super Water Thinnable Cement Primer / Seal Proof as per recommendation. Allow it to dry for 3-4 Hrs or apply coat of Shalimar Universal White Primer as per recommendation. Allow it to dry 6-8 hrs.

Spot prime before and after filling nail holes / cracks.
Putty(if required)

Level the surface with Shalimar Magic Acrylic Wall Putty or Shalimar Shakti Wall Guard Putty and allow it to dry for 4-6 hrs.

Sand surface with 180/320 emery paper and wipe it clean.

Apply an additional coat depending upon the surface conditions and smoothen the surface.
Primer
-
Apply coat of Shalimar Water Thinnable Cement Primer / Super Water Thinnable Cement Primer / Seal Proof as per recommendation. Allow it to dry for 3-4 Hrs or apply coat of Shalimar Universal White Primer as per recommendation. Allow it to dry 6-8 hrs.
Top Coat

Thin Shalimar Paints Hero Super Premium Interior Emulsion with potable water, 40% to 50% by volume.

For dark shade, thin Shalimar Paints Hero Super Premium Interior Emulsion with potable water 25%-30% by volume.

Apply 2 coats of the emulsion with an interval of 4-6 hrs.

Application can be done by brush, roller or spray.

For dark shades, an additional coat is recomended.
